Whereas the Lieutenant Governor of His Majestys
Province of Virginia with the Council and Assembly of the said
Province, did in the year 1732 pass an Act — Intitled

"An Act for Vesting certain entailed Lands with the
"Appurtenances in the County of Northhampton in Ger[trude]
"Harmanson in Fee Simple and for Settling other [cut off]
"and Negros of [greater] Value in lieu thereof to the [rubbing]

And Whereas the said Act, together with a Representation
from the Lords Commissioners for Trade and Plantations
thereupon have been referred to the Consideration of a Committee
of the Lords of His Majestys most Honourable Privy Council
for Plantation Affairs — The said Lords of the Committee
Did this day Report their Opinion to His Majesty, that
the said Act was proper to be Approved — His Majesty in
Council, taking the same into consideration was Graciously
pleased to declare His approbation of the said Act — And
pursuant to His Majestys Royal Pleasure thereupon
Expressed, the said Act is hereby confirmed, finally Enacted,
and Ratifyed accordingly: — Whereof the Governor, Lieuten
Governor, or Commander in Chief of His Majesty's Pr[ovince]
of Virginia for the time being, and all others whom it may
concern, are to take Notice and Govern themselves
accordingly
