Dear Sir,
Your late favor has [explained] the
agreement more fully, than I before understood
it. I have written to W. C. Nicholas this day by
Mr
. Jefferson, informing him, that I confirmed
it; and that I should send you a deed to be
delivered on obtaining the releases. I shall
execute it according to the law of 1785. I thank
you for your friendship; and am in
haste
