Alexa. Apr 12th: 1755 Sir

#301

I have sent up Clothing for out Forces, that for the
Companies at Wills's Creek & Capt Lewis must be sent to
them. Some Time since You wrote me You could recruit
more Men; I therefore enclose You Genl Braddock's Warrant
for that Purpose, & at the Price limitted, I think You may
raise a good Number, which if You can must be done
immediately, not to retard Your March, which I suppose
will be ordered in a Fortnight at furthest, & what You
can do will recommend You to the General's Favour.
I remain with Respect

Sir
Your very hble servt

Robt. Dinwiddie
