soners of War into your County as
are sent to your County by Major Jos
Holmes. You are to furnish the ne
cessary Guards from your Militia
& appoint a Commissary to supply
such Guards with provisions who
is to expect his pay from Congress &
no Doubt they will make him the
proper allowance.

The Treatment of the
prisoners will be directed by Major
Holmes whose Regulations will be
made known to you on the Subject
