Benjamin Waller, 1716–1786, informs William Byrd III that Mr. [Robert] Cary and Company paid Capt. Mouat N323 of Byrd’s protested bill to Col. McKenzie. Byrd to be credited with 39 hogsheads of tobacco when sold. Lord Dunmore is Governor, and there is no war.
