Advertising broadside for John Overy, silk dyer and scowerer of Philadelphia. The printed address has been blacked out and a new address given in manuscript. The verso contains manuscript insertions recording tafetta and other items Overy received. John Overy is listed on p. 140 of Stephens’s Philadelphia directory, for 1796 at 51 Pine Street. The 1797 directory lists Overy at South Street as noted on the broadside.
