WILLIAMSBURG, April 5, 1777.
During my absence from this state, I have appointed Daniel Fisher, esq; of Brunswick county, to receive all monies due to me by specialties, and to pay to my creditors such sums as he may be able to collect. Those who are indebted to me by open account are desired to settle and pay them to either of my sons Thomas or Nathaniel, or to give bonds for what they owe. DAVID MASON.
